Gender mainstreaming has become a recent issue on Turkey’s agenda. No matter what your sex is, society reshapes the notion of sex. The female sex is associated with pink while the male sex with blue. Besides, the former is attributed the qualities of passivity, chastity and honor whereas the latter is assigned the duty to be active and to protect his family’s honor. Is it possible for woman to be active in life despite all these gender roles? Is it possible to acknowledge the productive differences of the global world, its creativity, its surreal designs, the new colors of its art, and its innovative philosophy in this way? Or is it possible for a being that can give life to another in her own body to become the new protector, defender, and the real owner of environment?

Of course it is possible. Woman has drawn a new road map with scientific truths and consistent policies. The environment is within her and she is at the center of the environment. The longer our road is, the intenser our passion. Hope to be all together…
